startabox
Most joints in concrete, on many different types of construction site, have the potential to be formed using Startabox. Startabox has been supplied to high rise commercial, water treatment, hospitals, prisons, Energy from Waste Facilities and many more types of site.
mesh
All our mesh products are manufactured from 98% recycled material exceeding the BS4483 – 1998 or BS7123 Standards with Type 2 wire profile in all ‘A’, ‘B’ type meshes.
couplers
ROM can provide a wide range of couplers to suit various applications in a range of Diameters from 12mm to 40mm. Unitec Couplers are a shear-bolt coupling system for the connection of concrete reinforcing bars. Unitec Couplers are CARES approved TA1 – B5046.
Shear Rail
The Sheartech Rail system offers a CARES approved method of providing punching shear reinforcement
It has been independently tested, approved and certified by CARES to be fully compliant with EC2 design code whilst being fully compatible with the outgoing BS8110 design code.
rebar
ROM supplies cut and bend rebar to BS4449, and fabricated to BS8666 from 98% recycled raw material. We supply B500C grade as standard, giving the highest quality of material at competitive rates with no compromise.
piling
ROMTECH specialise in the manufacture and supply of prefabricated welded pile cages to BS7123, we can also supply loose components for site fixing.
Carpet Reinforcement
Our ROLL-OUT Carpet reinforcement system is a fast and highly cost efficient method for placing large areas of slab reinforcement, utilising the advanced B500C grade reinforcement.
Carpet reinforcement is easily unrolled, allowing up to 70% more steel to be placed in a shift, against conventional methods.

Prefabrication
Rom offers a complete offsite reinforcement prefabrication service with finished cage or mat assemblies delivered ready positioning on site. Prefabricated units are designed by Rom with the customer to ensure compatibility on site. Assemblies can be Mig welded or wire tied with additional reinforcement to ensure integrity of assembly is maintained during transportation and placing on site.
